CPA Nyarandi joined the Scheme on 12 May 2023 as a Sponsor nominated Trustee – KPA Pension Scheme (DB). With over 30 years of experience, he has an MBA (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Commerce (Business Administration – UoN). Among his professional qualifications include as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Secretary and a qualified Procurement Professional. CPA Omae Nyarandi is currently serving as the Director General of the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA). Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority and previously as General Manager at the Kenya Ports Authority.
